GE Profile Electric Range Profiles As The Top Range!
Last April, my husband and I purchased our first home. It had everything in it, it was fully loaded. The one problem we found was that the stove was not that great. It was kind of old, and did not work too well. We decided to go out and purchase a new stove to replace this one. We have always had gas stoves, but we found out that we had to buy an electric range since we did not have gas in the house.
We never had a electric range so we had to go do our research. We went to the nearest Sears and searched around until we found the “GE Profile Electric Range.” We are so glad that we picked out this model, it has been a godsend and better than any gas stove we have had. This thing is fully loaded and was reasonably priced at around two thousand and fifty dollars. The range fit right in with our countertop, standing about four feet high, and about thirty inches wide.
It has so many features I am not sure if I can fit them all in this review, it is jam packed. The range comes with a dual oven, one measuring 4.4 cubic feet and the upper one measuring 2.2 cubic feet, which is great for cooking smaller items, like our homemade pizzas on Friday nights. The oven comes with convection mode, which is great to get my food nice and browned without burning it, and has multiple racks. The oven is self cleaning.
The range on top is great, it features five warming spots. The electric range works with ease and is temperature controlled by their trademarked True Temp system. There are so many buttons on the top that it looks like the oven is incredibly hard to use, however it is a cinch. My husband can’t even screw up dinner with this oven! The oven is showing no signs of wear and tear yet, but just in case, it comes with a one year warranty for everything and a five year warranty on glass and the cook top surface.
The electric cook top really is something else; it actually boils water faster than my old stove. The back three rings are what is called the Tri-ring burner, which can be used all at once depending on the size of your pans (can be six, nine, or twelve inches). It comes in three colors: black, white, and stainless steel. We picked the stainless steel to match and it looks futuristic.
For an electric range, you would think it would burn up your electricity and make your bill go up. But in fact, this range is more efficient than any electric range on the market and uses very little power. So instead of spending a ton on a gas bill for a gas stove, you only pay a little on your electric bill. This electric range has been one of our best purchases yet, and is so multi-purpose that we can cook anything and everything on there with absolute ease!
